Microphone and Script (マイクと台本 Maiku to Daihon) is the name of the 171st chapter of the Bakuman Manga. It was published in Weekly Shōnen Jump on March 19, 2012.
Summary
Once everyone hears about the public audition, most lose their cool as things were going in Miho's favor for getting the role. However, it's better this way as now the audiance can choose who they think fits the role of Naho well. Though Kaya is worried, Akito and Moritaka are confident Miho will succeed.
Miho herself is questioning whether or not she can get the role and finally marry Moritaka. After Mina does her usual entering without knocking first, Miho is hugged by her sister, who is sad that soon she won't be getting scolded by her sister when she gets married. Miyuki makes a "good luck" dinner for Miho, bringing her daughter to tears.
The time of the live audition comes, with Miho the 7th to try; while some of those trying for the role are concieted and selfish, others are trying to make sure Miho doesn't get the role. When it comes time for Miho to audition, she leaves behind the script given to her, which a fellow voice actress notices is still in good condition, as if Miho hadn't bothered to read it or write notes.
