Chapter 174

How It Should Be and How It Ends (あり方と終わり方 Arikata to Owarikata) is the name of the 174th chapter of the Bakuman Manga. It was published in Weekly Shōnen Jump on April 9, 2012.

Summary[]

Hattori argues with the Editor-in-Chief, having completely taken Muto Ashirogi's side in the descion of when to end Reversi, threatening to quit Jump if permission isn't granted. However, after telling how an executive told him that an editor will always take the mangaka's side, Hattori wins and Reversi is to be ended in 8 weeks.

Reversi's ending leaves every single person who reads in awe or shock, with some realizing the depth of Akito's skill as a writer, and Moritaka's skill with art as the final two-page scene was drawn amazingly.
