Currently the Editor-in-Chief of Weekly Shōnen Jump is Yoshihisa Heishi, as the former Editor-in-Chief Hisashi Sasaki was transferred over to be the Editor-in-Chief newly created monthly manga magazine Hissho Jump. The Editor-in-Chief for the most part has the final word when it comes to what will run in the magazine.
